St. Ambrose Catholic Church is located in St. Louis Missouri in the "Hill" neighborhood. It was founded in 1903. Those early parishioners were Italian immigrants and the current congregation is made up of descendants of many of those same immigrants. A monument to those immigrants, sculptor Rudy Torrini’s statue, "The Italian Immigrants", was erected outside the church in 1972.
The church has two daily mass services and several services on Sunday. The parish boundaries are Manchester Road to the north, Hampton Road to the west, Kingshighway to the east and Arsenal and Connecticut to the south.
